What type of nails do you do? I do structured gel manicures using The Gel Bottle builder in a bottle. I do not do acrylic or pedicures

What is a structured manicure? A structured manicure is simply a gel mani that uses a gel base coat that is slightly thicker and stronger than typical gel base coats while staying more flexible than acrylic manicures. this extra strength and structure helps the natural nail grow to the desired length.

Is gel better/healthier for my nails than acrylic? There is no one product that is better or worse than others when it comes to your nails. some products or techniques may work better for some than others. What affects the health of your nail is not the product but how its being used. The only product that can be considered bad for the health of you and your nails is MMA acrylic, this type of acrylic is actual dental acrylic and much too harsh for the natural nails.

How often should I get my nails done?  Everyone is different! It all depends on how fast your nails grow and how rough you are on your hands. I have some clients that come every two weeks and others that have their nails last 6-8 weeks. I recommend not waiting longer than 3 weeks after getting extensions.

Which finishes are possible with gel nails? I focus on hand painted nail art and designs, but a french manicure, solid colors, or just your natural nail can be applied.

What can I do during my appointment to help the application? I love sharing my favorite tv shows for us to watch while working on your nails, but please be mindful on where you're placing your hands and fingers while your nails are wet/not cured. Do not touch anything during the appointment, keeping phone use to a minimum, and keeping yourself and your hands relaxed goes a long way!

What can I do to prepare for my appointment? Come as you are. If you have any gel ,dip, or acrylic on your nails please book the corresponding removal with your appointment. If you have any cuts or open wounds on your fingers or hands though, it may be best to reschedule the appointment. Please contact me prior to your appointment time if you need to reschedule.

How do I make my manicure last long? Your nails are jewels not tools so be gentle on them! To make your nails last the best in between appointments keep your hands out of hot water and chemicals, use cuticle oil twice a day to keep your cuticles nourished and the polish flexible.
